helloooooow! i know i know, it's only been 6 months and i normally don't interact with people so much but just couldn't help myself! ok enough mockery...

i have had a great break...a lot of encouragement has come my way and really boosted my attitude...so to all who encouraged---thanx! meanwhile the IU staff are back on campus and we pulled a few potently akward pranks on Jodi & Mindy (our recently assigned NewStaff) they came down to Bloomington from Indy for the day and Jeff chudy lined up the pranks.

Prank #1: the entire staff team came dressed in crimson shirts, khaki pants & white shoes...and told them we were trying to get ourselves in the mood to pray for the campus...(dorky & twisted) just the start...

Prank #2: Jeff C spent 5 minutes guiding us through praying through Scripture and then assigns each person a passage in Ephesians (mindy gets Eph 2:11) it was hilarious! she totally squirmed and jeff is overhere about to have a hernia trying to hold his laughter in!

Prank #3: we start a discussion near the end of staff meeting...the topic brainstorm over how to be all things to all people...long story short everyone in the room is throwing out ideas that are distinctly sinful acts in order to relate to students...mindy & jodi sit there the entire time trying rationalize our comments and suggestions before one staffer suggests an outlandish Cru meeting theme that busts us out laughing...at that point we bust out laughing and the gig is up --- BUT for most of the 15 minutes the atmosphere was thick and ripe with "akwardness". IT WAS AWESOME! (sorry...happy to disclose the theme name that drew laughter over the phone, but on Xanga out of context, it just won't sound right.)

hello xanganites!  i am Mark and happy to join your ranks...i address my first "blog" to you because you all are the reason i am grafted into this unique social hobby. 

i know. i know. many of you barely know me, but that's a great reason for me to join you, PLUS i basically have been sucked in to said hobby...via Andy, Char, Mookie, Dennis, Amy, Laura & more. so you see i didn't stand a chance.
